Terms of Service

FastScribe turns audio and video files into text transcripts. Your first file needs no account. A free account raises the daily limit; Pro raises it further and adds features. What each plan includes is on the pricing page.

You agree to upload only files you have the right to transcribe, and not to use FastScribe to:

• break the law or infringe someone else's rights;
• process recordings you were not permitted to make or share;
• overload or probe the service, or get around its limits.

"Unlimited" on Pro means fair personal or business use, not automated bulk resale of the service.

Transcription is machine-made and will contain mistakes. We do not promise a particular accuracy, and FastScribe is not a substitute for a professional human transcriber where one is required. We provide the service "as is", and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from its use or from errors in a transcript. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Pro is billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel any time from the billing portal on your account page; Pro runs to the end of the period you already paid for, and we do not prorate partial months.

If you share a referral link, both you and the person you refer can earn a reward once they genuinely use FastScribe, subject to the rules shown where you get your link. We may withhold rewards for activity that looks like gaming the program.

Your uploads and transcripts are yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store your file briefly, transcribe it, and keep your transcript so you can return to it. How we handle that data is in the privacy policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, and any dispute will be handled by the courts located there.
